Ladies Club's September Event

The gala evening organised by the Ladies Club Organising Committee was an immensely enjoyable evening, planned and executed to perfection. Ladies received a warm welcome from the Committee members.

The buffet comprising of tempting snacks was aesthetically laid out for all to ensure that they enjoy tea/coffee and delicious/hot snacks and meet & greet each other.

The ambience created was conducive to the theme, soft music (Come September) in the background enhanced the happy aura. It was fascinating to observe gorgeous ladies engaged in conversations, complementing each other and cracking jokes. The bonding was exemplary!

The evening’s program began with an insightful interactive session on helping teens navigate through Social Media. The session was chaired by Dr Kavita Sharma, former Principal of Hindu College(DU) and President of South Asian University. It was an informative and enlightening session. We extend our gratitude to Dr Kavita Sharma for her eloquent interaction with the audience.

It was a pleasure for the present Ladies Club Committee to felicitate the previous Committee Members along with their competent President, Mrs Shivani Chaturvedi. Present President, Ms Neeta Dogra & the wise President Swaran Gupta did the honours. Neeta Dogra in her thank you speech appreciated the previous committee members for having worked restlessly to organise fabulous monthly Meetings.

Soon it was time for the much-awaited cultural bonanza, time to put on dancing shoes and present Western dance moves, to mix of retro & modern music presented by four couples……syncing their dance styles encompassing different genres with groovy music.

We extend special thanks to Veera Gupta & Mohan Jain, Dr Ritu Sharma & Gaurav Sharma, Parul & Sahil and Abhishek & his partner.

A spectacular Western dance performance was followed by Bollywood Dhamaka, an incredibly choreographed dance presentation by our own graceful divas. Variations of dance steps matched the retro & modern Bollywood songs ingeniously chosen by Sushmita, our choreographer.

The brilliant performance left the audience spellbound and the hall echoed with sounds of thundering applause and cheering! Our special thanks to; Rashmi Kumar, Suneet Kaur, Ruma Kholi, Harpreet Gupta, Ritu Gupta, Anjali Goel, Neetu Aggarwal& Shikha Mittal.

Abhishek, an energetic, swift and amazing choreographer went to each lady requesting them to dance along as he led the entire group. It was an awe-inspiring moment and the Josh exhibited by one and all was magical. History was created when the entire audience lit up the dance floor swaying and swirling with the music!

After the rocking cultural program, it was time to savour a yummy and elaborate continental spread. It was a joyful sight to observe the lovely ladies enjoying the Continental goodies and one could overhear appreciative remarks related to the lavish menu specially crafted for our charming ladies.

We express our gratitude to the beautiful ladies: Samidha Jain, Anita Jaiswal, Saras Gupta, Nitu Aggarwal & Deepika Jalan for helping us out in making the event a grand success.

The fun-filled event will indeed be etched as a memorable evening in the history of the Ladies Club.
