Advocate Manju Oberoi

A celebrated lawyer, a mother, and a phenomenal human being, who believes in providing substantial resources to women in need.

A strong woman is the one who believes

in lifting others. Advocate Manju

Oberoi’s life truly holds these words

true.

After completing her schooling at

Cambridge School in Srinivaspuri, she

went to Indraprastha College to pursue

English Honours, followed by post- graduation in English from Hindu

College. On the recommendation of her friend, she decided to fill out forms of Law, and in a surprising turn of events, both the girls got selected. After completing one and a half years at the university, she got married in November 1984. Dreaming of a well- settled and happy life, she moved to Kolkata. But life doesn't go as contrived her husband lost his merchant job, and

life was at a halt. But with all sorts of issues going on in life, she decided to get back to her studies. In 1987, things finally turned in her favour. Her husband sailed as a merchant navy

officer and she practised law, juggling life with two young children.

Her life is something to learn from, not only because she overcame all the odds, but also because she does inspiring work for women. She helps distraught women, without charging any fee from those who can't afford it. She has saved many women from traumatising and violent in-laws.

Her journey is an ideal example of strong willpower, resilience, and fortitude. Her life symbolises unyielding courage in the face of hardships. She is a disposition of kindness and clemency.
